Stormr is the city located at the northwest portion of the island. Located in the open mountains, cats of Stormr are known for being quick and light on their feet, perfect for jumping and easy climbing.
Stormr cats are typically disconnected from the other cities, and are more mysterious to outside cats as a result. They often see themselves as above the other cities. As a result they typically have a hard time taking criticism and are hardly welcoming to guests. |

Leadership
Stormr is led by one position, known as the Monarch. The Monarch is the ruler of Stormr, commonly known by their gendered title of "King" or "Queen". The Monarch runs all diplomatic affairs, communicating with the people and making decisions for the city's welfare.. Even if there is a King or Queen, there can only be one Monarch, and one ruler of Stormr; which is determined by blood. Those who have the blood of rulers in their veins are fit to rule. The Monarch may take on a betrothed, which will change their title, but not their status. The Monarch's significant other holds no power over the city.
The Heirs handle all affairs in the city, communicating with their peers and ensure the city is running smoothly. Reporting all their findings back to the Monarch for them to observe and handle any situations. The current Heirs are Princess Sóma and Princess Griðr.

Healing
The role of a healer in Stormr is very traditional, due to the city's focus and preference of strength and hunting prowess. A healer focuses on their studies of herb knowledge and healing rather than fighting or hunting. Stormr can have up to three healers, and any can take on a novice at any time, creating a total of six healers if all three appoint themselves an apprentice. All healers work together, meaning their is no official head healer of Stormr. If there is a unofficial head healer, they're typically the eldest as they are more respected and well-known in the city.
While the healers all work together, they do have their own separate, personal tents. But as all healers are trained together, it is not uncommon or unheard of that some may choose to sleep in the same tent, and view each other as close friends or family.
Housing
Stormr will often take advantage of their various cave systems as well as tent building for housing. Currently all dens are constructed of tents except for the palace and a few other exceptions for work.

- Stormr believes greatly in Communal Living. Cats of the same rank will live in large tents together, relying heavily on the other cats of their rank. As the result there is a Raptor's den, Talon's den, Healer's den, and Elder's den.
Education
Stormr believes in communal classes; where all children of age are taught by Stormr's teachers and public about the history and general knowledge of their city, surroundings, and territory. They will learn basic survival skills of hunting and fighting, as well as how to navigate their home-land from the inside. Newly made novices are not permitted to explore the territory on their own or with an adult, and will commonly learn landmarks by utilizing map-work.
At 10 cycles of age, each Novice will decide which class they would prefer to pursue and specialize in. They will then inform their teachers of their choice, and be placed under the watch of a more experienced member of that class to further their training.
Raising Children
Parents are a team in raising their kittens. It is both parent's responsibility to take care and watch their kittens, and the parents often take shifts watching their young to ensure their safety and care. When a mother becomes pregnant, she is given a private tent to give birth and receive medical attention. The parents will rarely have visitors, as this is primarily where the mother will watch over her kittens so that they may grow. The kittens will remain in their private den until they reach three cycles of age.
Once the kittens have reached three cycles, they will move into a large communal tent with other mothers and children, known as the Roosting Den. At six cycles of age, their mother will move to her respective. The children will remain in the roosting den until they choose their class at ten cycles of age, and move into their communal den.

A Union of Souls
When two or more cats have fallen in love and wish to be united and recognized as an official pairing by their city, they may present themselves to the Healers to request a bonding ceremony. They will celebrate by having a dance and song underneath the star-light, adorning themselves in grey and blue silks and paint to match the bright blue moon.
The Beginning
When a child is born, the Seer will prepare a visit with the family to give their children their blessings of good will and health. They will then announce the family's new additions to the city, many of which quickly visit the new family and wish blessings towards the kittens and for the mothers good health. The Seer may often perform a small ceremony to predict the kittens future.
The End
As age creeps onto a feline, they are encouraged to retire as an elder of Stormr. By the age of seventy-one cycles, they are pushed to retire as an elder and spend their days in rest. The Seer or Heirs will recognize the cat's service to Stormr, and thank them for their contributions to the city. They are then told to rest and heal their physical or spiritual wounds, and spend their last cycles in content and peace.
The Highest Mountains Toll
Death is not rejoiced in Stormr. It is a deep grief as their loved ones have departed from the world.
We are all born alone and we all die alone.
When a feline of Stormr passes unexpectedly, many close relatives and friends will gather to wish them fare-well as they depart back to Odin. The supreme deity of all gods. All Stormr felines believe in Odin and that he will guide them to Valhalla or Hel's lands. The body is then buried under stones on the highest mountain.
- Stormr Cats often use flight-related or bird-related terms to describe the felines in their city or describe anything in general. Such as Hatchling, Fledgling, or Egghead.
- Animals of Flight, as deadly as they can be, are often admired and respected. Stormr felines use birds of flight, specifically birds of prey, to test their strength and good will.
- Family bonds are important to Stormr, and city-bonds are equally as important. Hence the communal living, to bring the city closer together.
- Jewelry holds a heavy presence in Stormr, as the city indulges and lavishes in jewels and silks.
